A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A
JR. HORSEMAN CAMPER
a real horse-owner experience for pre-teens & teens

Time: Approx. 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

This camp is designed for pre-teens and teens who want more responsibility, more horse time, and a deeper connection to the horse world—without owning a horse.

Why We Created Jr. Horseman’s Camp
This camp exists because our older riders asked for it.
Last summer, more than 150 riders ages 11+ told us they wanted something more than a traditional horse camp—more depth, more responsibility, more real-world experience. They wanted to feel trusted.
They wanted to learn what life with horses is actually like.
They designed and we built it.
Jr. Horseman’s Camp is our most immersive, hands-on, leadership-building camp ever—designed specifically for pre-teens and teens.
WHAT CAMPERS ACTUALLY DO EACH DAY

This is not a “ride-and-go-home” camp.
Jr. Horsemen spend their days living the real rhythm of horse ownership—with guidance, structure, and support at every step. From getting to the barn early and staying until the work is done!
Daily Horse Life Includes:
-
Catching, grooming, tacking, and untacking their own horse
-
Riding every day (based on experience and readiness)
-
Feeding, watering, and caring for the herd
-
Participating in barn routines and stable management
-
Learning how to assist younger riders appropriately
-
Building confidence, leadership, and responsibility
A helping hand is always close—but riders are encouraged to do.
