Welcome

Welcome to Our Key Leadership Program

It's boots on the ground and hands-on the horses for our Key Leadership Team!

Parents and kids don't always know where to go or how to get started discovering and building on their innate leadership traits. So, we've created an effective program to help youth build a solid foundation in leadership through real-life practices in our horsemanship services.

Our program teaches skills such as self-governance, self-control, influencing others, and building community in a safe, professional, and inclusive environment.

There are two main streams within our

Key Leadership Team Program

1.  Learning Assistant "LA" Position

Designed for youth who have completed the LA Training process and have enrolled in our Riding Lessons Program, the LA Key Leader role offers a unique opportunity for participants to take on a leadership role within both our summer camp program and year-round riding lesson program. They serve as mentors, providing support and guidance to camp volunteers and riding lesson students alike.

2.  Summer Camp Volunteer Position

As a Summer Camp Volunteer, participants assist with horse-themed and non-horse themed activities during our summer horsemanship camps and support in the overall delivery of the program while learning about and loving horses and developing fantastic life skills.

With the opportunity to be outside on the farm and learning about horsemanship, responsibility, leadership, teamwork, and more, our volunteers gain valuable experience in a fun and supportive environment.
